  1. Documentation of current bug fixes/enhancements for Toaster Flyer version 4.2
  2.  
  3. Installation changes:
  4. * Installation corrected to work when just installing programs (no content).
  5.  
  6. * When low on destination drive space, the estimated amount of space necessary to be made available is now accurate.
  7.  
  8. * During the installation, when "Start Toaster upon boot-up" is selected, the startup-sequence and user-startup are now correctly modified.
  9.  
  10. * The CD-ROM should now be recognized more efficiently during an install.
  11.  
  12. * Installation should no longer creat a 2nd NewTek directory on the WorkBench partition.
  13.  
  14. * Installation no longer leaves Switcher icon on FlyerCalibrate icon when viewed through the WorkBench windows.
  15.  
  16. * Installation script now properly and completely removes all installation-related files from memory (RAM) when finished.
  17.  
  18. * Installation now states correct version numbers.

  21. Flyer FileSystem:
  22. * Files larger than 4 gigs will no longer corrupt themselves.
  23.  
  24. * Reorgs on drives larger than 4 gigs no longer corrupt the data.
  25.  
  26. * Reorg has new seek routines to help data integrity thus increasing the likelihood for Reorg success.
  27.  
  28. * Flyer HD tools optimized to work more efficiently.  Now has more global, foreign drive recognition.
  29.  
  30. * Flyer File System modification optimizing large Audio drive usage.  These devices should now no longer be intermittently "unavailable".
  31.  
  32. * Processing large clips should now be much safer (i.e. less possibility for corruption of data/device)
  33.  
  34. * Cutting large clips should also be safer.
  35.  
  36. Editor Changes:
  37. * ChromaFX now work in a sequence.
  38.  
  39. * When saving a framestore from Switcher Flyer software will no longer allow you to save a file with no name.
  40.  
  41. * Key pages can now properly inherit properties.
  42.  
  43. * The addition to the Editor Options Panel allowing global default key page fade-in controls.
  44.  
  45. * ALT + , (comma) ALT + . (period) , and ALT + / (forward slash)  now allow you to change selected transitional effect speed to slow/medium/fast, respectively.
  46.  
  47. * Help menu now reflects proper version and keyboard shortcut commands.
  48.  
  49. * Control panel gadget corrections.   Included in this is the Record Panel cancelled changes to the audio slider gadgets will no longer swap the sliders' (R and L) positions.
  50.  
  51. * Clips should now properly inherit timecode.
  52.  
  53. * Clip to IFF increased to 1000+ frames.
  54.  
  55. * Audio control panel arrangement enhanced.
  56.  
  57. * Switcher's version numbers now shows the correct version of Toaster Flyer software.

  59. * When a file is selected in the Flyer Files view and 'Controls' is then clicked on, the files' byte size is now far more accurate.

  61. ToasterPaint: 
  62. * Drag-pick color feature within ToasterPaint no longer has ~20-40 pixel radius offset.
  63.  
  64. * Clip Select button in TPaint is now properly labeled.
  65.  
  66. * Brush Flip routines within TPaint should now work correctly.
  67.  
  68. * TPaint flood fill should work.
  69.  
  70. * DO NOT USE QUOTES IN THE FONT FIELD within the ToasterPaint program.

  72. LightWave:
  73. * LightWave should no longer get function errors upon initialization.
  74.  
  75. * Saving a scene file with any variation of FlyerClip as the selected Anim Type will no longer crash the system when next that scene file is loaded and/or rendered. 
  76.  
  77. * Layout and Modeler configs should maintain user defined load/save directories.
  78.  
  79. * Easy anims automatically loop.
